Thursday 1st May, a total number of 34 UFR/XFR cars participated in the race on Westhill International race course. Representing NRG was Martin.S (qualified 8th in Division A), Imphy (qualified 17th in Division A) and Viper (qualified 5th in Division B). Pole position went to FLP/r Jouman at with a qualifying lap of 1.44.410 only 3 tenths off the world record.

The division A race hade some incidents resulting in 4 DNF's, unfortunately Martin.S being one of them ending up on the roof after an accident. Imphy gained 4 positions during the race and finished in 13th. The top qualifier Jouman fell back to the very end of the field after an incident but impressively enough fought his way all the way back up to finish in second place. FLP/r ergin won the Division A race. In Division B Viper held on to his 5th place after a stable performance and the winner in Division B was SRS>>M.Fyhr.

Out of 22 participating teams in the team championship, NRG is still firmly holding on to the second place with 709 points after SRS's 786 points. In third is SOR with 608 points.

På grund av scriptproblem förra torsdagen kördes samma combo den 24/4, det vill säga den Caterhamliknande bilen LX4 på anrika Blackwood Grand Prix (reversed).
Superpole kördes, vilket innebär att man var ensam på banan och varken kunde bli hjälpt eller stjälpt på banan. Pressen på förarna under ett superpolekval är betydligt större än under ett vanligt kval eftersom man bara har ETT flygande varv.
Körandes för Nordic Racing kom Nicke fyra, Martin femma, Imphy 15:e och Viper 16:e på A-servern, medan Patte med bilproblem kämpade sig till sjätte plats på B-servern.

Det var verkligen inte Pattes kväll. Efter det misslyckade kvalet kämpade han i toppen på B-servern för att sedan köra slut på bensinen det sista varvet... Imphys race var lovande, men när han var uppe på elfte plats så kraschade datorn... Bättre lycka nästa gång, hörni!
Viper körde in på sjuttonde plats, mitt i en klunga om tre bilar.
Nicke och Martin hade ett kul race och kom i mål på tredje respektive fjärde plats, ett par "händelser" till trots.
I teammästerskapet blev det många härliga poäng till oss i NRG. Vi är nöjda, men ingen vila för det. Träningen inför nästa veckas race pågår för fullt! Vi ses på Westhill!

Torsdagsrace on 17th April 2008 was scheduled for the LX4 cars on Blackwood reverse with Superpole (everyone get's one single qualifying lap instead of the normal 30 minutes of free qualifying). NRG drivers all qualified into the A division with Nicke in grid slot 2, Imphy in 5th, Martin.S in 7th and Viper just outside top 10. With NRG being second in the team championship not far behind SRS (who only had one driver qualifying into top 10 with Lister taking pole position) there was a good chance of good round for NRG to get some extra points and hopefully take over the lead. Unfortunately due to bad server conditions the race had to be postponed, but a race the same combination will be held on next Thursday on 24th April. Come back to find out the results then.
